A new great collaboration starter from the beginning of February 2008, between FAT S.r.l. DV S.r.l. and TreePaint S.r.l. about the development and the selling of a new spectrophotometer to solve the problems in printworks, engravingworks and quality control.

The idea took form with the agreement of DV for the hardware and the colorimetric analysis, of TreePaint for the software, the preparation of the colouristic receipts, data handling and printers calibration and of FAT for the commercial purpose.

The new spectrophotometer can scan A4 format samples in a few seconds and return the colorimetric analysis (returning the L, a , b and  DE values) for every single point or the average values on a selected area. Then through the TreePaint software it’s possible to check these returned values with other parameters already present in the data base (Control Quality function) or it’s possible to prepare the exact receipt for traditional and digital printing (Preparation of Receipt function).

With the new spectrophotometer the digital printings calibration time are reduced from 4 hours to 25 minutes including image acquisition, increasing sensibly the production and reducing the wasted time. Some more information and the catalogue will be published in the next few days on the web site.
